Detail: The Historic West End Market, Charlotte's first "urban" market will
operate each Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., beginning August 29, 2009.
The market is a culturally diverse outdoor art gallery and market
place that will feature a variety of quality inter-cultural offerings
(products, produce, food and the arts). Local artist, farmers,
merchants, restaurant owners and non-profit organizations are invited
to showcase their art and products. Spaces are free of charge, subject
to the market model and availability. Applicants may apply for the
